HIGH FORMAT® has brought the industry the ground-breaking products: Grand Ledge Wall, Kodah Wall, Gauge Select Slabs, and Montrose Slabs to name a few. This year we are excited to announce three new products by HIGH FORMAT®: Breeo Smokeless Fire Pit Kit Inserts, Camden Cap and Coping, and Empire Steps. In this article we will visit the new coping and step options.
On March 15, 2023, High Format was gracious to host its customers at their Spring Tour at a local brew pub. Since it had been just before the COVID-19 start that we met last, the sales team went through the history of these last several years regarding company development, product shortages, and where High Format (HF) is now. We are glad to say supply shortages seem minimum or even non-existent at this great manufacturer. HF has expanded its facilities and therefore, production capacity. Along with this, HF will ramp up its research and development, making us excited to see what is next at HF.
This year HF is introducing their new line-up of steps, called Empire Steps. These are beautiful and durable step treads with a crisp splitface texture on all four sides with a lightly textured walking surface. These is a wetcast material providing a consistent 7’ rise for each and every of the 3’, 4’, 5’ and 6’ length steps. HF will offer this product in their Fond du Lac, Slate Gray, and Limestone colors.
The success of HF’s TEKTRAMAT®ultra high-performance concrete technology in their Mid-Century Slabs and Gauge Select Slabs has led to new product offerings. This proprietary material allows for large yet thinly formatted shapes, ultra-realistic replication of fine detail and unsurpassed durability including salt proof surface. In 2023, HF has released their Camden Column Caps and Camden Coping. Both materials come with a rock-face and in their color options of bluestone, summit, dune and charcoal. Column cap sizes include 24”x24”, 30”x30”, and 34”x34. The coping with a wear-proof surface comes in a 4-foot length and 12” deep.
