MegaSlam is a Texas based company building the best quality basketball hoop system in the country. Their MegaSlam 72 offers an 8”x6” post made out of 5 gauge welded steel. The Clear View backboard design is made out of ½” regulation tempered glass with a 180-degree Pro flex rim. The steel is hot dip galvanized and powder-coated for a lifetime of scorching summers, rainy springs and frozen winters. Some may want to charge extra for this but it is included with this system. MegaSlam also includes a 2” thick custom fitted pole padding and backboard pad. This model has a 4-foot overhang. MegaSlam is so confident in their system, they offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty. The adjustable height MegaSlam 72 is definitely recommended for full-size courts but might also be a good choice for half courts and 2-car driveways. If you are looking for a small space and/or have a smaller budget, MegaSlam offers a 60 and 54 model. Along with the small backboard, the 60 has a 6”x6” main pole but with the same 5-gauge construction, rust protection, and warranty as the 72. This model has a 3-foot overhang. The 54 has a solid 5”x5” main pole.
If a fixed goal would better fit your needs, MegaSlam offers the FX Pro, FX72, and FX60. These models are free-standing goals that has the most pro features and the best rigidity while playing. The FX has a whopping 12”x8” main pole, while the other two models offer an 8”x6” main pole.
MegaSlam offers two accessories with their systems. When evening play is desired, the Game Light has a 12K-lumen LED light so the court is clearly lite. This LED runs cool and uses 90% less energy than halogen bulbs. No electrician required for assembly just an exterior extension cord/plug. Tired of chasing the ball when it leaves the court? The massive net that MegaSlam offers maybe the best defender on the court. The net spans 12 feet wide which is ample room to catch most missed shots and especially those of your tiny pros. The Net Protect® netting system is made for all season as it is built with tough steel frame and outdoor UV-rated nylon.
