Macomb, MI, January 23, 2021 – Mitchell Alen Thoms, Senior Project Manager of Thoms Bros. Landscaping, Inc. of Macomb, MI has become Landscape Industry Certified as an Exterior Technician in Hardscape Installation. Mitchell has been with Thoms Bros. since 2008.
By earning the Landscape Industry Certified (LIC) Exterior Technician credential, Mitchell has demonstrated his expertise in the field of exterior landscaping. The Technician-Exterior exam has five specialty areas to choose from: Softscape Installation, Hardscape Installation, Turf Maintenance, Ornamental Maintenance or Irrigation. With the hardscape specialty that Mitchell decided on, he needed to also pass the common core exam which includes communication, safety/first aid, vehicle operation & safety, tools & equipment, and basic math. The LIC program is conducted by the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP).
